By buying products or booking services from Lumen Maris, you accept these Terms and Conditions. Take your time to read them before placing your order.

2. What's sold on this site

Lumen Maris sells:

  • Handmade devotional rosaries and spiritual jewellery.
  • Clothing, accessories and home items.
  • Incense, candles, essential oils and aromatic products.
  • Digital products (ebooks, guides, downloadable content).
  • Spiritual consultation services: Spiritual Response Therapy, Reiki, numerology, astrology.
  • In-person courses, workshops, events and retreats.

3. Availability and the unique nature of the products

Each rosary and handmade piece is individually assembled by hand using natural materials. Semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls show natural variations in colour, shape and size. These variations are part of the product's character and aren't defects.

Stock is limited because of the handmade nature of the work. If a product shows as available at the time of purchase but we can't fulfil the order, we'll let you know within 48 hours and process a full, immediate refund.

4. Prices and payments

All prices are shown in euros (EUR), Lumen Maris's main currency. The site may show an automatic conversion to other currencies (USD, GBP, MXN, ARS and others), but the final charge is always made in EUR, at the exchange rate applied by your card provider at the time of payment.

We accept payments through Shopify Payments (credit and debit cards) and any additional methods offered at checkout (PayPal and others).

Lumen Maris doesn't currently charge VAT, as we operate below the Irish VAT registration threshold. This will be updated if we go over that threshold.

5. Duties and customs (shipping outside the EU)

For shipments to destinations outside the European Union (UK, United States, Mexico, Argentina, Canada and others), the prices shown don't include duties, import taxes, local VAT or customs fees charged by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and must be paid to local customs before the parcel is delivered.

We recommend checking your country's customs fees before making a purchase. Lumen Maris can't predict or cover these costs.

6. Spiritual services: specific conditions

Spiritual consultation services (SRT, Reiki, numerology, astrology) are provided online or in person, as stated for each service. When you book:

  • You must be 18 or over, or have authorisation from your legal guardian.
  • The date and time are confirmed by email after booking.
  • Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance: full refund. Less than 48 hours: 50% refund or rescheduling. No-shows: no refund.
  • Once the service has been provided, no returns are accepted (service already used).

These services are complementary holistic wellbeing experiences and don't replace professional medical, psychological or therapeutic care. See the Legal Notice for more information.

7. Courses, events and retreats: specific conditions

For registrations to in-person courses, workshops, events or retreats:

  • Registration is confirmed with full payment or the deposit stated for each activity.
  • Each activity has its own cancellation and refund policy, communicated when you register.
  • Default general policy: up to 30 days before, 100% refund. Between 30 and 14 days before, 50% refund. Less than 14 days before, no refund (date change possible, subject to availability).
  • Lumen Maris reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an activity for justified reasons. In that case, we offer a full refund or a date change, at the participant's choice.
  • By registering, the participant confirms they're physically and mentally fit to take part in the activity, and agrees to disclose any relevant medical circumstances beforehand.
  • Participation is voluntary and at each person's own risk. Lumen Maris holds Public Liability Insurance cover.

8. Digital products: specific conditions

Digital products (ebooks, guides, downloadable content) are delivered by email once payment is confirmed. When you buy a digital product:

  • You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it.
  • You can't redistribute, resell or publish the content without express written authorisation.
  • Once the product has been downloaded, no returns are accepted (legal exception under Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).

9. Intellectual property

All text, photographs, illustrations, editorial content, digital products, training materials, visual identity and the Lumen Maris brand are the intellectual property of Patrizia Gonzalez. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use is prohibited without express written authorisation.

10. Limitation of liability

Lumen Maris is liable for the products and services it sells in accordance with applicable law. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages, or loss of profit.
  • Improper use of the products by the customer.
  • Delays or losses caused by the shipping carrier or by customs authorities in the destination country.
  • Specific outcomes expected from spiritual services (we don't guarantee predictions or therapeutic effects).

Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for anything the law doesn't allow us to exclude.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Orders already in progress are governed by the version in force at the time of purchase. Later orders are governed by the updated version.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Ireland and by mandatory European Union consumer protection law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of Dublin, unless mandatory consumer protection law grants jurisdiction elsewhere.

EU consumers can find their national consumer dispute resolution body through the European Commission's Consumer Redress page: https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies_en
